Since leaving Duke with my Markets and Management Studies Certificate, I have gone on to work for Morgan Stanley as an investment analyst and am now conducting business and product development at a financial technology company, Sentieo. The MMS certificate provided me with the foundation to excel in both jobs as it relates to professional and intuitive acumen, as well as allowing me to put my best foot forward day in and day out.
The application of the MMS certificate to potential professional opportunities are endless! Whether you want to go into banking, consulting, sales, tech, or work for a startup, the MMS program will definitely position you to be as successful as possible. You will ultimately be uncomfortable at some point in your professional career, but the skills and knowledge I picked up from the MMS undergrad program helped me become quite comfortable with the uncomfortable.
