Educational Objectives

The Markets and Management program has four primary educational objectives:

  1. Students will recognize the viewpoints presented in course materials (e.g., scholarly papers, financial and business reports, case studies) and will apply them to relevant business contexts.
  2. Students will evaluate the logic, evidence, and conclusions of arguments presented in course materials and will be able to generalize findings to construct their own arguments.
  3. Students will deliver compelling, well-supported arguments in class presentations.
  4. Students are able to self-organize into roles, and then execute their roles in team-based course projects in ways that foster a constructive team climate.
