How was the MMS certificate program helpful when deciding on a career path? The MMS program's diverse course offering allowed me to explore my interests in several different areas of business, and build upon the coursework required for my major. I was able to ultimately tailor my education to my career interests, making my overall experience more well-rounded.

How did the MMS certificate help you prepare for your current position? Many of the courses in the program encourage teamwork and empower students to be innovative and original. Developing the ability to work harmoniously with different types of people has proven to be extremely useful in my current position.

What advice would you give students? Throughout my studies at Duke, I found that many of the Markets & Management professors had unique and robust professional experience. I highly recommend getting to know your professors and learning about their ‘real world’ experiences. They are an excellent resource for developing your career aspirations and understanding how to apply your education post graduation.
