Business Fundamentals (Fall 2025)

Have you ever wanted to explore the world of business outside of the conventional investment banking or consulting paths? This course seeks to help students evaluate potential career options by examining the key functions within a typical company and by evaluating multiple industries more broadly. We will learn by doing and by hearing from guest speakers. Taught by Steve Columbaro.

Consulting Skills (Spring 2025)

Consultants bring real-world experience to help students understand the consulting process, the industries that consultants work within, and the skills required to be successful as a consultant. Topics include hypothesis testing, data analysis and visualization, and specific consulting engagements. Students will learn how to prepare for a career in consulting. Not open to seniors. Taught by Leigh Shamblin

Luxury, Wealth and Happiness (Fall 2024)

Are you fascinated by the allure of luxury brands and curious about their impact on happiness? Do you ever ponder how wealth shapes our world and personal well-being? This class opens the doors to exploring the multifaceted relationship between material abundance and joy, offering a deep dive into the psychological, cultural, and economic aspects of living a life of opulence. This course includes simulations that reveal the dynamics of wealth distribution and team projects and hear from leaders in the luxury world. Taught by Shep Moyle.
